What’s On Your Nightstand?: OR, Everything Old Is New Again
Readers! How I’ve missed blogging regularly (as I once did for AOL and for Publishers Weekly), wandering in the wilderness as I’ve been for the past few years, posting occasionally here and there but never managing to stick to a schedule when things were all up to me. Fortunately, Editor-in-Chief O’Neal (the “chief” also modifies “whipcracker,” but that’s another post) has given me a new platform–or perhaps extended my leash a few inches–and is allowing me to ask my favorite question of all time here on Book Riot.
What’s on your nightstand?
C’mon, we really want to know–and we’ll ask this every week, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to share. Or ignore us. Or to tell other people to share! The possibilities may not be endless, but if you’re like most of us on staff, your TBR piles are.
I’ll start things off by first showing you this post about my nightstand from my friend Victoria’s tumblr The Pencil Box.
What’s on my own nightstand now? A small selection:
On my e-reader: Open City by Teju Cole
In hardcover: The Cove by Ron Rash
In paperback: The Uninvited Guests by Sadie Jones
ARC: Next to Love by Ellen Feldman
Now it’s your turn…tell us all about what’s on YOUR nightstand in the comments.
