Jeff O’Neal, CEO & Co-founder, reads books and writes about them. He has the great good fortune of living with his favorite person in the world and their two bright, beautiful children in Portland, OR.
Rebecca Joines Schinsky, Executive Director, Business Development, loves books, bourbon, travel, and cooking, and is a co-host of the Book Riot Podcast. She’s also passionate about yoga and serves on the board of directors for Project Yoga Richmond in her adopted hometown, Richmond, VA, where you might see her running around with a rambunctious golden retriever.
Amanda Nelson, Executive Director, Demand Generation, can usually be found romping along the river in Richmond, Virginia, with her twin boys. Amanda also spends time volunteering as an abortion clinic patient escort, and puts her former-indie-bookseller skills to use as the co-host of the Get Booked podcast.

Kelly Jensen, Editor, is a former teen librarian who worked in several public libraries before pursuing a full-time career in writing and editing. Her books include Body Talk, Here We Are: Feminism for The Real World and (Don’t) Call Me Crazy, a collection of art, essays, and words to launch a powerful and important conversation about mental health. It was named a best book of 2018 by the Washington Post and earned a Schneider Family Book Award Honor. She’s also a certified yoga teacher.

Vanessa Diaz, Managing Editor, is a writer, reader, and former bookseller from San Diego, CA whose Spanish is even faster than her English. Her penchant for books, travel, and a hot cuppa tea is rivaled only by her obsession with Agatha Christie and cheese. This Portland transplant can be found hosting the Read Harder Podcast, on Book Riot’s YouTube channel, and only very occasionally at Buenos Diaz San Diego.

Jenn Northington, Manager, Editorial Operations, has worked in the publishing industry wearing various hats since 2004, including bookseller and events director, and is currently Manager of Editorial Operations at Riot New Media Group. You can hear her on the Get Booked and SFF Yeah! podcasts. When she’s not working, she’s most likely crafting, running, or (obviously) reading.
Danika Ellis, Associate Editor, spends most of her time talking about queer women books on tumblr and at the Lesbrary, as well as chatting about all sorts of bookish things on booktube.
Charity E. Yoro, Editorial Operations Associate, is a poet and creative producer from O’ahu, now rooted in the PNW with her partner, book-loving toddler, and feisty feline guide named Rumi. When she’s not changing litter and/or diapers, Charity can be found sneaking bites of non-dairy ice cream between the pages of her latest library find. She also, sometimes, writes and teaches.
Erica Ezeifedi, Associate Editor, is a transplant from Nashville, TN that has settled in the North East. In addition to being a writer, she has worked as a victim advocate and in public libraries, where she has focused on creating safe spaces for queer teens, mentorship, and providing test prep instruction free to students. Outside of work, much of her free time is spent looking for her next great read and planning her next snack.
