Attendees at VidCon were treated to a sneak peak at the trailer for the upcoming The Hate U Give, based on Angie Thomas’s amazing novel. The author shared the teaser via Twitter for the world to see last night.

A full-length trailer will be shown at the BET Awards on Sunday, and will be available for everyone to see on the movie’s official website. The movie hits theaters on October 19.
