When Harry Met Ayn: A Laissez-faire to Remember
Ever since I read that a young Ayn Rand got her start in Hollywood, I haven’t been able to shake the idea of a Randian Romantic Comedy. There’s just something about her controversial philosophy of rational self-interest that seems oddly appropriate for the genre.
So let’s take a look and see if applying some of Rand’s writing to a classic romantic comedy would result in a laissez-faire to remember.
