I recently finished reading The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood and wondered, when if the dreams of conservative women come true, what role I would have in our new society. Honestly speaking, I would probably be disappeared, because The Handmaid’s Tale is a white feminist’s dystopian tale, but if I did have the “pleasure” of living in the Republic of Gilead, I think I would be a Martha.
