I fell in love with romance because of Jane Austen (and let’s face it—Jilly Cooper). The pining for each other. The way each small action can be interpreted. Men with handsome calves in knee breeches. Swoon! But sometimes it’s also fun to read romances that are a little less buttoned up and have a little more unbuttoning in them.
